If you have overripe bananas, you can turn them into a sweet, moist banana muffin and best of all it takes hardly anytime to make!

Preparation

Cooking time: Approximately 25 minutes

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Makes: 12 Large Muffins or 24 Small Muffins

Ingredients

• 4 large bananas
• 3/4 cup brown or white sugar
• 1 slightly beaten egg
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups flour

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
2. Mash the bananas in a bowl, and then add the sugar, eggs and melted butter and combine.
3. In another bowl add the baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour and mix.
4. Mix both wet and dry ingredients just until they are combined.
5. Grease your muffin tin and evenly separate the mixture.
6. Bake them for approximately 25 minutes.

Step 1

First open Bridge, then find the folder that holds the image you want to use.

Select all the images you want in your gallery.

Now click “OUTPUT” at the top.

One the side click “WEB GALLERY”. Simply fill in your site info and edit the styles and colors. As you are doing this you can preview your gallery by clicking “Preview in Browser”.

Once you are done you can either save the gallery files onto your computer to later use in a website or upload it online using and FTP Server. That’s it! A professional flash gallery in a couple minutes. Have fun!

Coconut ice is simple to make and tastes delicious, as well as making a great gift when wrapped up and decorated with a ribbon.

Preparation

No cooking time.

Preparation time: 10 minutes & 50 minutes to set.

Makes: 30+ Pieces

Ingredients

• 750g icing sugar
• 300g desiccated coconut
• 400ml condensed milk
• Vanilla essence
• Pink food coloring

Method

1. Lightly grease and line small square cake tin.
2. Using a large bowl, sift icing sugar and add desiccated coconut, mix well.
3. Add condensed milk and a splash of vanilla essence mix until well combined, if dry add small amounts of water until moist.
4. Half mixture, flatten one half in the tin.
5. Color the other half of the mixture with about 10 drops of pink food coloring.
6. Flatten the remaining mixture on top.
7. Set in fridge for about 50 minutes or until hard.
8. Cut into small pieces.

Faking Depth of Field is a great way to focus on one element in your image.

Step 1

First open your image into Photoshop. In the layers panel select your image layer and duplicate this (Ctrl+J). Then turn the visibility of the top layer off by clicking the eye.

Step 2

Select the bottom layer, that still is visible and go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. I put the radius as 3.0 pixels, but you choose what is best for your image. You don’t want it too blurry.

Step 3

Now put the visibility back onto the top layer and select it. Click on the eraser tool and make the brush about 100 px, with 0% hardness. Remember this is just a guide, you may want to make your brush larger or smaller, depending on your image size.

Step 4

Now put the flow down to about 5%.

Step 5

Still selected on the top layer with your eraser tool, start erasing some of the background of the image, revealing the blurry image underneath. By leaving your foreground untouched you give the effect that are focused on that part of the image. This technique works on most images, so give it a go and enjoy!
